Original music pantomime produced for our Key Theatre in Peterborough.

The story of Aladdin has been told for well over a thousand years and is still one of the most popular fairy tales. The pantomime version is set in China for an enchanting tale of magic, mayhem and misunderstandings, can Aladdin (Max Taptygin) save the Princess Peony (Emily Tang), defeat the wicked Abanaza (Andrew Sharpe) and get everyone back home safely to China to help his mother Widow Twankey (David Griffin-Stephens)  in the laundry before the lamp runs out of wishes? He’ll need all the help the magical Genie (Feyi Wey) can muster . . . and, just what is in Wishee Washee’s (Laura Crowhurst) enormous pet egg?? There’s only one way to find out!

Packed with all the traditional pantomime ingredients you expect, there really is something for everyone in this extravaganza, with lots of audience participation, laugh-out-loud comedy, plenty of opportunity to boo and hiss, plus it wouldn’t be a Key Theatre pantomime without a few surprises along the way!

The principal cast are joined by and incredibly talented high kicking ensemble of Callum Bowman, Ruby Pondayi-Hall, Harvey Dorling and Rhiana Ogborne.
