Join Dick Whittington (Simon Aylin) and his clever cat on a whirlwind journey from the Fanny Fitzbottom’s (David Griffin-Stephens) sweet shop to the depths of the ocean, and even as far as a palace on a mysterious island! Can our hero defeat the wicked Queen Rat (Alex Dawe), he’ll need the help from the brave Alice Fitzbottom (Abigail Matthews) the magical Fairy Bowbells (Lucy Jaen Quinlan) and even the cowardly captain (Simon Rhys-Jones). This original musical pantomime bursts with toe-tapping songs, hilarious characters, and high-energy storytelling that will leave audiences of all ages laughing and cheering, and discovering what can happen when you all work together and the importance of friendship.
Expect pirates, sea creatures, big dreams, and a whole lot of heart in this fresh take on a classic tale. The principal cast are joined by a talented ensemble of local young performers, Lucy Kitchener, Sam Flowers, Stan Scarborough, Thomas Barker, Amara Podd and Cydney Jacobs.
